Nigeria Public Finance Facility (NPFF)

Location: West Africa

The FCDO’s Nigeria Public Finance Facility (NPFF) programme builds on FHI 360 UK’s long experience providing public financial management, tax and contextual policy, economic and conflict analysis on FCDO programming.

The NPFF programme is designed to contribute to establishing a more effective and equitable tax policy and administration, and more effective public financial management for the Nigerian government. The programme aims to support Nigeria by reducing fiscal deficits, increasing tax revenue, broadening the tax base, and prioritising institutional reform. It also focuses on strengthening the capacity of Nigeria’s tax administration and improving its ability to use analysis and evidence in shaping tax policy.

FHI 360 UK leads on understanding the contextual environment around the reforms NPFF will support, providing analysis to allow the programme to be adaptive and response to changing circumstances. FHI 360 UK also provides technical expertise in a number of public financial management and tax reform matters, directly supporting the Federal Government of Nigeria’s reform efforts.
