Refresh of the Berbera Corridor Diagnostic Study
Location: Ethiopia
FHI 360 UK supported the development of a diagnostic study to refresh the FCDO’s understanding of the current status of the Berbera Corridor. As part of this study, we looked at the impacts of the development of the Berbera Corridor on women’s economic development, particularly cross-border traders, and provided recommendations for regulatory reform towards inclusive development. We also worked closely with our team of local researchers to ensure the programme design was sensitive to the cultural, socio-economic, environmental, and political context.
