The FHI 360 family
FHI 360 is partnering with new actors in innovative ways. We have built a family of organizations to provide a robust and resilient platform for delivering on our mission and partnering with businesses, foundations and civil society organizations dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways. Although each member of the family operates differently, together they are guided by the same vision: to create a world in which all individuals and communities have the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

FHI Foundation
The FHI Foundation was established in 1990 from the proceeds of the sale of Clinical Research International (CRI) to further the development mission of FHI 360 in the United States and globally. Since then, the FHI Foundation’s support has ranged from funding groundbreaking work in HIV and AIDS and strategic initiatives, such as integrated development, to stimulating new ideas and incentivizing innovations. The FHI Foundation’s unique impact investment model, and the establishment of its endowment from the successful sale of a commercial venture, are part of FHI 360’s proud history of market innovation.
